Hunkered down during the day, cleaning stuff, charging stuff. Turned on the AC in the rig, which was nice. It was hot and dusty.
Went out biking for a bit, checked out center camp.
Later, drove the art car around the playa.
After going into the deep playa and then trundling through the 9:00 side of the city, the dust and wind really started moving in. We managed to get to the Eiffel Tower (playing French techno). We tried waiting it out but conditions turned into white out. We couldn’t see more than about 10 feet. River walked in front of the art car across the playa, and I drove behind her, until we exited the playa and entered the city on our street (5:30).
We went back out on bikes for a bit, but the dust and wind were terrible. We went back home, and I went to bed. River went back out for a bit because Burning Man isn’t closed at 3 AM!
